From time to time, we receive comments from clients stating that their natural hair color has been restored and are typically quite pleased because of this. However, these otherwise satisfied customers have one common question. Why doesn’t the hair on or near my sides react like the rest of my hair? They state that except for this area, they have had remarkable results but cannot get this hair to respond. Also, every once in a while a client will complain that they have a spot of hair which can be anywhere on their head that just won’t respond to the treatments like the rest of the hair. Some comment that they even apply more product to these areas or leave the Youthair® on the hair here longer but never seem to get results. If this happens to you, rest assured, you are not alone. These areas of the head can be quite stubborn and are for some, resistant no matter what they try.
About one in ten clients will find this to be the case. The answer is not exactly known but we feel there is a correlation between these clients. We feel it is usually one or more of the following reasons:
Age: These clients are usually in their late twenties or older. Color: Typically darker hair can be more resistant than lighter hair. Gender: Males usually have a more difficult time with these side areas.
If this is true with you, we have a solution. If applying more product here or leaving the product on these areas longer fails to yield results, we can control this problem too. We can make these areas blend in quite well with the rest of your newly restored hair color.
